Your new roleAs a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimisation of the company's enterprise data platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party partners, you will help transform raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Designing and developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations. Building and maintaining data warehouse solutions and data repositories. Developing robust data models, including fact and dimension tables for reporting and analytics. Managing data quality, governance, lineage, and security across the data estate. Creating and enhancing reporting and business intelligence solutions, including Power BI.Supporting cloud-based data environments across Azure and AWS.Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the organisation's data strategy and architecture. At least 5 years' experience in a Data Engineering or similar data-focused role. Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL and exposure to relational database technologies. Proven ETL experience, with SSIS being essential. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Strong understanding of data modelling, warehousing concepts, and dimensional modelling. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.Knowledge of Agile delivery environments and the Software Development Lifecycle. Experience designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. Any experience with Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, DevOps, data migration projects, or financial services environments would be highly advantageous. Generous private healthcare provision.
