A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join its people function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an efficient, high-performing HR service while driving continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, and employee experience.

As HR Operations Manager, you will lead the delivery of HR operations across the employee life cycle, ensuring an exceptional service is provided to employees, managers, and stakeholders. This is a strategic yet hands-on position, combining operational leadership, process optimisation, compliance, and people management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of HR operations and employee life cycle processes.
  • Ensuring HR policies, procedures, and controls are consistently applied across the organisation.
  • Managing and developing HR Operations team members to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
  • Overseeing onboarding, offboarding, data management, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Reward, and external vendors to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of HR systems, technology, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
  • Producing and analysing HR data, metrics, and management information to support business decision-making.
  • Leading HR projects and contributing to wider people initiatives across the organisation.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We are interested in speaking with experienced HR Operations professionals who have a passion for service excellence, process improvement, and stakeholder management. You will ideally have:

  • Experience in an HR Operations Manager, HR Shared Services Manager, HR Services Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operational processes across the employee life cycle.
  • Experience leading teams and developing high-performing HR service functions.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, data management, and HR reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience managing HR compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience streamlining processes and implementing change.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in financial services, professional services, or a regulated environment would be beneficial.
