Following the retirement of a long-serving team member who spent more than 30 years within the organisation, they are seeking a Treasury & Financial Markets Associate to join their London office.Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, you'll join a highly collaborative front-office team and work closely with colleagues across Treasury, Trading, Operations and Compliance. Technical knowledge can be developed over time, but the right individual will be someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and contributing to a collaborative team environment.Your new roleAs a Treasury & Financial Markets Associate, you will support an established portfolio of corporate and institutional clients across treasury and financial markets products, with a particular focus on foreign exchange execution, funding and liquidity activities.Working closely with Treasury and Trading teams to execute client transactions and funding requirements.Supporting client funding, investment and risk management activities.Coordinating client onboarding activity and liaising with Compliance and KYC teams.Working closely with internal stakeholders across Treasury, Trading, Operations, Risk and Compliance.Maintaining awareness of regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have at least 1 year's relevant experience within Treasury, Financial Markets, Corporate Banking, Banking, Cash Management or a similar financial services environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of treasury-related products would be highly beneficial, including:Treasury risk management concepts.Corporate treasury activities and bank relationship management.A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline would be advantageous.What you'll get in returnOpportunity to build a long-term career within a highly collaborative Financial Markets and Treasury environment.Competitive salary, with flexibility for the right candidate.Hybrid working arrangement.Long-term career development within a stable and highly regarded Financial Markets business.If this role isn't quite right for you, but you're considering a move within Treasury, please get in touch for a confidential conversation about other opportunities. #
