The client is looking for a Finance Assistant for a 9-month FTC (covering maternity leave). Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices, checking accuracy, coding to correct cost centres, and preparing payment runs.
- Raising client invoices, monitoring debtor balances, and supporting credit control activities.
- Performing daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
- Posting journals.
- Assisting in monthly management accounts preparation.
- Processing staff expenses.
- Ad hoc duties as required by the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a similar role within financial services.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Double entry bookkeeping experience.
