Your new company Our client is an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy based in Belfast, providing engineering, design and advisory services throughout the UK and Ireland.

As one of Northern Ireland's longest-established consultancies, they have built a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across a wide range of sectors.

With a growing presence within the energy sector, they are involved in the delivery of major energy infrastructure developments, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and power infrastructure projects supporting large-scale data centre developments.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their expanding renewables team.

Your new role You will support the delivery of energy infrastructure projects from initial feasibility through to completion, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers on technically challenging and high-profile developments.

Projects will focus on battery energy storage systems, electrical infrastructure and power schemes associated with data centre developments across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities will include: Supporting the design and delivery of energy infrastructure projects.

Carrying out electrical assessments, technical studies and due diligence exercises.

Undertaking site inspections and surveys.

Assisting with project management activities and stakeholder coordination.

Producing technical reports, calculations and design documentation.

Supporting project delivery from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Liaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative energy solutions.

What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.

Junior or Intermediate level candidates will be considered.

Experience within an engineering consultancy environment would be advantageous.

Strong interest in energy infrastructure, power systems and emerging technologies.

Proficiency in Auto CAD, with Revit knowledge considered beneficial.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
