Pay: £120 Per Day (Inside IR35, PAYE)

Location: 2 days per week in the Stratford, London office (50% in office from 1 September). There is a team in-office day on Tuesdays.

Our client is an independent UK regulatory body responsible for ensuring financial markets work well for consumers and the wider economy. The organisation plays a critical role in promoting integrity, transparency and trust across financial services, operating in a complex, high-profile and highly regulated environment.

The Central Digital Review Unit (CDRU) is part of the Digital Support, Business and Learning Department within Enforcement Intelligence and Specialist Services (EISS). CDRU provides comprehensive digital evidence and disclosure review services to Enforcement and Market Oversight (EMO) using the EDT e-Discovery tool. This role focuses on conducting detailed reviews of high volumes of digital material to assess evidential value in criminal and regulatory investigations. The role offers exposure to complex criminal cases, specialist digital review work and ongoing professional development within a highly skilled investigative environment.

  • Review and analyse large volumes of digital material to determine relevance and evidential value.
  • Conduct document review across multiple digital formats using EDT or equivalent review platforms.
  • Apply appropriate judgement, confidentiality and quality assurance standards throughout the review process.
  • Experience in regulatory investigations or litigation, or investigations involving serious fraud, complex financial crime or criminal cases.
  • Ability to assess and examine voluminous, data-heavy bodies of evidence, exercising sound judgement on evidential value.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably eDiscovery software, with a willingness to develop skills in emerging technologies including generative AI.
