Your new roleIn this exciting opportunity, you will play a key role within the Delegated Authority team, managing the technical aspects of Binding Authority and Reinsurance agreements across a diverse portfolio of international business. You will be responsible for producing and reviewing Binder contracts, endorsements and associated documentation, whilst providing technical support to internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance with London Market and Lloyd's standards.
The role offers exposure to underwriters, brokers, insurers and capacity providers, allowing you to build strong market relationships whilst supporting the full Delegated Authority life cycle. This is a hands-on technical position suited to someone who enjoys ownership, stakeholder engagement and working across a broad range of international binder arrangements.
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this position, you will have previous experience within a Delegated Authority, Binding Authority or Technical Insurance environment. You will possess a strong understanding of London Market Binder arrangements, Cover holder relationships and delegated authority processes.
You will have experience drafting, reviewing or managing Binding Authority agreements, endorsements and related contractual documentation, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and a high level of attention to detail. Experience gained within a Broker, Managing Agent, MGA or Reinsurance environment would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to systems such as ATLAS, DCOM, BARS or Delegated Audit Manager.
This role would suit a technically strong insurance professional who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and working across the full delegated authority life cycle.
