The group is many years established, boasting an impressive history of consistent revenue growth over that time, driven by its ambitious international expansion strategy. It now seeks to bring its proven business model leveraging cutting-edge AI and big data technologies to the UK market.
As the UK's first employee, the successful candidate will take the lead on securing FCA approval with the assistance of a highly experienced regulatory compliance professional, building out a compliant digital platform connecting UK customers with financial institutions. Furthermore, the incumbent will hire and take lead of a UK executive team spanning compliance, operations, finance and technology, forging ahead on product development and identifying local strategic partnership opportunities with external parties.
Candidates are sought with current or prior experience of holding SMF1 or SMF3 in a FCA regulated provider of unsecured credit to consumers or small businesses, with deep knowledge in particular of the full lifecycle of digital financial products. This fabulous opportunity combines the security of a financially secure group with a clear growth strategy and the excitement of a start-up. Working will be remote during the initial set-up phase, transitioning to office based once one is established, most likely in London.
