Overview
In this role you will advise corporate, utility, fund, developer and financial-institution clients on a broad spectrum of M&A, corporate finance, private equity and energy-related transactions. You will work on cross-border deals and support a portfolio spanning renewables, storage, hydrogen, interconnectors, data centres and hydrocarbons. The role focuses on energy transition work, including JV and shareholding matters, within a dynamic, national firm. You will partner with colleagues to shape transactions and drive growth in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- advise on mergers and acquisitions and disposals for corporate energy clients
- facilitate corporate finance and private equity investments in energy projects
- structure and negotiate joint ventures and shareholding arrangements
- manage cross-border energy transactions and regulatory considerations
- support projects in renewables (solar, wind), storage (BESS), hydrogen, nuclear, interconnectors, data centres and biofuels
- assist clients with project finance and deal execution in energy transition initiatives
- collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated corporate and transactional advice
- develop and maintain client relationships in the energy sector
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience in corporate energy/M&A and related cross-border transactions
- experience with M&A, joint ventures and shareholding arrangements
