The opportunity: As a Contracts Manager, you’ll play a critical role in helping Hays maximise commercial opportunities by ensuring contracts are agreed efficiently, accurately, and with strong commercial alignment. You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and associated documentation, while working collaboratively across the business to deliver a seamless and professional contracting experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a wide range of contractual documentation, including:
    • Client terms and Hays Terms of Business
    • Supplier agreements within MSP/RPO frameworks
    • Third Party Agreements (TPAs), addendums, novation’s and self-bill agreements
  • Lead the preparation and review of contract documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, Insurance and Operations
  • Partner with bid teams and support pricing discussions where required
  • Track contract progress, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of outstanding issues
  • Take ownership of contract review processes and governance compliance
  • Support Account Managers and Directors with client engagements
  • Manage supplier queries, variations, and issues through to resolution
  • Facilitate contract amendments and change controls
  • Support effective handover of contracts to delivery teams
  • Provide reporting on KPIs, work-in-progress and contract status
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment to audit and governance standards
