A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Client Servicing & Onboarding Analyst to join its growing operations and client solutions team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in asset management operations, client servicing, onboarding, or middle office functions who is looking to develop their career within a highly respected buy-side environment.
Working across institutional client relationships, you will play a key role in coordinating new client onboarding, managing fund and mandate launches, supporting transition events, and ensuring a seamless client experience throughout the onboarding and servicing lifecycle.
The Role
You will act as a central coordinator between internal stakeholders, clients, custodians, administrators, legal teams, and other service providers to ensure successful implementation and ongoing servicing of institutional mandates. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end onboarding of new institutional clients and mandates
- Coordinating fund launches, account openings, mandate changes, closures, and transition events
- Acting as a primary point of contact for operational client servicing queries
- Liaising with custodians, fund administrators, transition managers, brokers, and other third parties
- Supporting the setup of trading agreements, custody arrangements, and operational infrastructure
- Coordinating operational due diligence reviews, service level agreements, and operating memorandum
- Monitoring project timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Building strong relationships across investment, operations, legal, compliance, and client-facing teams
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and operational risk projects
About You
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the asset management operating model and have experience supporting institutional clients in either an operational, onboarding, middle office, or client servicing capacity. You will ideally have:
- 2-4 years' experience within asset management, investment operations, client servicing, onboarding, middle office, or fund operations
- Knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives, and FX products
- Understanding of operational processes including settlements, reconciliations, corporate actions, client reporting, and custody operations
- Experience working with custodians, brokers, fund accountants, or administrators
- Exposure to industry systems such as Bloomberg, SWIFT, TLM, Portia, HiPortfolio, or similar platforms
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Industry qualifications such as the IMC are advantageous, and additional European language skills would be highly beneficial.
