You will be joining a highly regarded team of technical specialists, supporting sophisticated clients on some of the market's most complex and high-value claims.
As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex Financial & Specialty Risk claims from notification through to resolution. The role will have a particular focus on transactional and corporate risk-related claims, requiring a strong understanding of policy coverage, legal liability and commercial negotiation.
You will work closely with insureds, brokers, insurers, underwriters and legal counsel, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the claims process. The position will involve handling complex coverage discussions, negotiating settlements, liaising with external stakeholders and ensuring commercially favourable outcomes are achieved. You will also monitor legal, regulatory and market developments, providing insight into emerging risks and supporting the ongoing enhancement of claims strategy and best practice across the team.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience handling complex claims within either an insurance or legal environment. Candidates with exposure to Financial Lines, Transactional Risks, M&A-related claims, commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes or corporate insurance matters will be particularly well suited.

A legal qualification would be advantageous, although candidates from an insurance background with relevant claims experience will also be considered. Strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously are essential.
In return, you will join a highly respected specialist insurance business offering exposure to complex international claims within a growing and technically challenging area of the market. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gain direct interaction with senior clients and industry stakeholders, and benefit from excellent opportunities for professional development and long-term career progression.
