Your role
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Category & Sourcing Manager to join our Category & Sourcing team for IT Software.
- Be responsible for delivery across all the Category Scorecard dimensions.
- Contribute to the development of the IT Software Category Strategy by providing insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and manage complex negotiations where a new vendor is being considered, or engagements with existing challenging vendors.
- Facilitate elements of complex deals such as: RFx structure, Base Case, Business Case, Commercialization Model, Solution / Proposal Evaluation, Transition, Transformation, & Termination Planning, Deal structuring and Execution.
- Define commercial constructs to motivate vendor behaviours that are aligned to strategy and goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor for all internal business partners, with a strong emphasis on concise and accurate communication, both written and verbal.
- Prepare reports on category insights and provide strategic recommendations to the Category Lead and/or senior management.
Your expertise:
- Must have relevant experience as a Sourcing or Category Manager or in a similar role.
- Expert in deal negotiations for large and complex services and experienced in outsourcing methodologies, contracts and commercial models.
- Experienced working with large service providers and vendors.
- Must have excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Detail orientated with structured, organized, methodical planning skills.
- Eager to learn, highly driven and motivated with a can–do attitude.
- Takes initiative and drives them with the ability to work independently.
- Collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures.
