Your new company A leading engineering and technology organisation is seeking an experienced Business Transformation Consultant to support a major digital transformation programme within a highly regulated engineering environment.

Working on a complex product development and systems integration initiative, you will play a key role in shaping future-state architecture and improving how engineering and operational systems interact across the business.

Your new role As a Business Transformation Consultant, you will work closely with engineering, technology, and business stakeholders to assess existing processes, identify integration opportunities, and define a future operating model that supports long-term business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include: Leading discovery workshops with business, engineering, and technology teams.

Reviewing existing product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Assessing current Io T and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Defining and documenting product development architecture and future-state operating models.

Identifying integration requirements across engineering, manufacturing, operational, and enterprise systems.

Producing architecture artefacts, transformation roadmaps, and strategic recommendations.

Supporting business transformation initiatives across engineering and product development functions.

Engaging with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.

Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Extensive experience in business transformation, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture consultancy.

Strong knowledge of Io T platforms, technologies, and integration architectures.

Proven experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes.

Previous experience defining or governing Product Development (PD) architecture.

A track record of conducting integration assessments and discovery activities within complex organisations.

Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Experience documenting current-state and future-state architectures.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills What you'll get in return Day rate (Inside IR35).
