A great opportunity for an AP Manager/ Senior Accounts Payable Specialist.
Your new company: You will work for a thriving media music company, with offices based in the heart of London.
Your new role: In this sole charge Accounts Payable role, you will report to the Finance Manager and undertake varied responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Sole responsibility for end-to-end Accounts Payable across the Group
- Processing supplier invoices
- Preparation and execution of payment runs
- Internal liaison to ensure timely approval of invoices
- Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Supporting cashflow forecasting
- Working alongside external payroll provider, dealing with employee expenses/credit cards
- Ensuring correct VAT application on invoices, preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- AP reporting including supplier spend, payments and balances
- Ongoing review and improvement of AP processes
- Provide full month-end and year-end support for all things AP related
What you’ll need to succeed: Recent relevant experience in an end-to-end senior/sole charge Accounts Payable role. Understanding and prior experience supporting month-end. Experience working within the media/music industry with an understanding of royalties is advantageous. You will be a self-starter who is keen to learn and progress in your accounting career. Hard-working and deadline-driven, able to thrive in a demanding role. You’ll uphold high standards and work proactively. Dynamics system experience is highly advantageous.
What you’ll get in return: Flexible working options are available with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home each week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the office). Study support on a case by case basis. Annual discretionary performance-based bonus. Pension. Private healthcare. 2-week office shut down at Christmas (non-contractual - finance team may be required to work for a day or two in order to meet deadlines). 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Working hours 9am-5pm. Team and company-wide socials.
