Processing & coding supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
- Reconciling supplier statements & resolving discrepancies.
- Managing weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Reviewing staff expenses & corporate card transactions.
- Posting to multi‑currency bank accounts.
- Maintaining the AP ledger with full accuracy.
- Supporting month‑end close, including accruals & reporting.
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice/payment queries.
- Ensuring VAT compliance & adherence to internal controls.
- Supporting internal & external audits with required documentation.
- Assisting with system improvements & finance process efficiencies.
- Contributing to ad hoc finance projects.
5-10 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong attention to detail in high‑volume environments.
- Solid understanding of double entry & an interest in accountancy.
- Strong organisational skills & ability to manage deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel + experience with SAP/Sage or similar.
- Excellent communication skills & stakeholder relationship building.
- Knowledge of VAT & expense policies.
- SAP Concur experience (desirable).
- AAT qualification (desirable, not essential).
