Processing & coding supplier invoices accurately and promptly.

  • Reconciling supplier statements & resolving discrepancies.
  • Managing weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Reviewing staff expenses & corporate card transactions.
  • Posting to multi‑currency bank accounts.
  • Maintaining the AP ledger with full accuracy.
  • Supporting month‑end close, including accruals & reporting.
  • Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice/payment queries.
  • Ensuring VAT compliance & adherence to internal controls.
  • Supporting internal & external audits with required documentation.
  • Assisting with system improvements & finance process efficiencies.
  • Contributing to ad hoc finance projects.

5-10 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.

  • Strong attention to detail in high‑volume environments.
  • Solid understanding of double entry & an interest in accountancy.
  • Strong organisational skills & ability to manage deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel + experience with SAP/Sage or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills & stakeholder relationship building.
  • Knowledge of VAT & expense policies.
  • SAP Concur experience (desirable).
  • AAT qualification (desirable, not essential).
