Your new roleYou will play a key role within a collaborative Clinical Negligence team, managing your own caseload of claimant matters while also supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value and catastrophic injury claims. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied and rewarding caseload while gaining exposure to high-profile litigation and developing your technical expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a full caseload of claimant clinical negligence files from instruction through to conclusionSupporting senior team members on complex, multi-million-pound and catastrophic injury casesDrafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation to a high standardConducting legal research and assisting with case strategy and preparationLiaising with clients, Counsel, courts, medical experts and third partiesAttending client meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriateManaging key dates, limitation periods and case progression proactivelyEnsuring all files are maintained in line with regulatory and compliance standards (SRA, AML, Lexcel)Participating in file audits, risk management and quality assurance processesContributing to a collaborative team culture, including mentoring and knowledge sharingWhat you'll need to succeedQualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with circa 4+ years' PQE in Clinical NegligenceProven experience managing a claimant clinical negligence caseload independentlyExperience assisting on complex or high-value clinical negligence mattersStrong knowledge of litigation processes and regulatory requirementsExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication skills with a client-focused and empathetic approachHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and complianceConfident IT skills and experience using case management systemsA genuine passion for clinical negligence work and achieving positive client outcomesWhat you'll get in returnHigh-value, complex caseload with a focus on client careCompetitive salary with attractive bonus scheme25 days annual leave plus
