This people-orientated organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll specialist to join their busy bureau. This role is ideal for a confident payroll professional who can process payroll end to end and quickly embed themselves into a fast-paced environment ensuring accurate, compliant payroll processing.
Initially working in the office and then following successful probation, you will have 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
- Process end-to-end payroll cycles
- Process weekly, fortnightly, lunar and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client deadlines.
- Liaise with external clients to support with any payroll queries.
- Calculate and process adjustments, holiday pay, bonuses, overtime, and salary changes.
- Proven experience in a UK payroll bureau position/high volume service
- Experience with managing and coaching a team and support with their learning and development
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Strong communication and friendly phone manner
- Immediate or short-notice availability
