Initial 6-Month Contract (Likely Extension)Help manage a £2.5 billion infrastructure portfolioWe're supporting a major public-sector organisation in the Merseyside Region to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer (Project Manager).Working within the Asset Management team, you'll lead the planning and delivery of structural and civil engineering projects across a diverse operational estate, including office buildings, Mersey Tunnels, ferry terminals, bus depots, operational hubs and associated buildings/ infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile assets, managing projects from initial scoping and condition assessment through to delivery. The RoleLead structural and civil engineering projects across a varied asset portfolioReview condition surveys and technical reports to develop project scopesManage consultants, contractors and key stakeholdersOversee project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budgetWhat We're Looking ForA proactive and well-rounded Structural Engineer with broad-ranging experience across a variety of sectors such as: BuildingsInfrastructureCivil EngineeringTransportationPublic Realm / Asset Management(Local government exposure would be highly desirable)You'll be comfortable managing projects, coordinating stakeholders and applying sound engineering judgement within complex operational environments.
