As an Associate Director within the Private Client Tax team, you will take a strategic and commercial approach to managing and developing client relationships while leading exciting and varied advisory projects. You’ll ensure a high-quality service to a range of clients and manage a team, including reviewing work, providing training and development, and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture aligned with our values.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading advisory and technical projects for private clients
  • Managing and developing client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for new opportunities
  • Collaborating with partners to develop new business and build on existing relationships
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Overseeing compliance and advisory projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Working closely with other departments to deliver a joined-up service

What you'll need to succeed:

  • CTA and/or ACA qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of tax issues relating to private clients
  • Proven experience in client handling and project management
  • Ability to lead advisory projects and deliver high-quality reports within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory projects
  • A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff
