A large, values‑driven organisation within the public sector is seeking a proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to join their People Services team. This organisation offers a supportive, collaborative environment where continuous improvement and innovation are encouraged. You’ll be joining a friendly, forward‑thinking team that plays a key role in shaping learning culture across the group. Occasional travel to other locations within St Helens and Warrington.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Business Partner, you will provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support across all L&D activities. This is a varied and fast‑paced role where you will:

  • Coordinate a wide range of learning events and development opportunities for colleagues
  • Act as a key point of contact for managers, learners, and external training providers
  • Support the scheduling and completion of mandatory Health & Safety and e‑learning requirements
  • Administer L&D processes through iTrent, including bookings, venue arrangements, and evaluation data
  • Maintain accurate learning records and ensure certificates are stored appropriately
  • Manage activity through the organisation’s LMS platform
  • Produce regular reporting, including non‑attendance updates for managers
  • Promote learning opportunities through internal communication channels
  • Support the wider People Services team with general tasks when required

This role is central to ensuring colleagues have access to high‑quality learning experiences and that all L&D processes run smoothly and efficiently.
