As an Associate Director within the Private Client Tax team, you will take a strategic and commercial approach to managing and developing client relationships while leading exciting and varied advisory projects. You'll ensure a high-quality service to a range of clients and manage a team, including reviewing work, providing training and development, and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture aligned with our values.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading advisory and technical projects for private clients
- Managing and developing client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for new opportunities
- Collaborating with partners to develop new business and build on existing relationships
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Overseeing compliance and advisory projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Working closely with other departments to deliver a joined-up service
What you'll need to succeed:
- CTA and/or ACA qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of tax issues relating to private clients
- Proven experience in client handling and project management
- Ability to lead advisory projects and deliver high-quality reports within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory projects
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff
