Your new company is a well-established and growing food production organisation based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your new role involves overseeing a busy production line to ensure operational efficiency and output targets are achieved. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team on the shop floor, ensuring that performance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on role within a dynamic production environment, where you may be required to step in and support the line when necessary. Working Monday to Friday (07:00 - 18:00), you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and drive productivity across your shift.
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have experience supervising teams within a manufacturing or food production environment. You will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a proactive and flexible approach.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Forklift or pallet truck licence
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
You will receive a competitive salary package in the range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (based on a 48-hour week). Additional benefits include:
- Hourly rate of £14.80 - £16.60, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 150% for hours worked over 40
- 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
