Your new role
As Senior Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process across a multi-entity environment, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decision-making.Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
- Intercompany reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls.
- VAT reconciliations and general ledger management.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Developing meaningful management information and commercial insights for operational stakeholders.
- Collaborating with senior finance leadership to support integration activities and finance transformation projects.
- Building strong relationships across the wider business to drive financial performance and support future growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with relevant industry experience.
- Strong management accounting experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Experience operating within a multi-entity business would be advantageous.
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
