Project Quantity Surveyor in Lisburn

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drylining and partition systems who is looking to develop their career within a specialist and technically focused sector. Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a range of drylining and partitioning projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial aspects of drylining, partitioning and ceiling packages. Preparing and submitting valuations, variations and final accounts. Procuring subcontractors, materials and specialist suppliers. Monitoring project costs, cash flow and financial performance. Reviewing drawings and specifications to identify commercial opportunities and risks. Producing accurate cost reporting and forecasting. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you should possess: A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying. Proven experience within drylining, partitioning, ceilings or interior fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of commercial management within specialist subcontracting environments. Experience managing variations and negotiating final accounts. Excellent contractual and financial awareness. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
