We're looking for an experienced Integration Analyst / SQL Developer to join an established Data Engineering team on a contract basis. This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a key part in migrating a major client from a legacy system onto our core data platform - making sure everything runs smoothly, securely, and without disruption. If you enjoy solving complex data challenges and working close to real business impact, this one's for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and building SSIS integration solutions across multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, text, XML).
  • Writing T‑SQL to ingest, transform, and deliver complex data safely and efficiently.
  • Supporting large‑scale client system migration, working closely with Project Managers and fellow Data Engineers.
  • Handling ETL, automation, and data integrity across multiple environments.
  • Partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and deliver clean, reliable data solutions.
  • Jumping in on day‑to‑day data engineering tasks when needed to keep delivery moving.

What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • Strong commercial experience with SQL / T‑SQL.
  • Hands‑on experience building SSIS data integration solutions.
  • Experience working with XML and XSD schemas.
  • Solid understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in financial services.
  • Exposure to Power BI, SSRS, Tableau.
  • Scripting in C#, VB, Python, or R.
  • Experience working with SFTP integrations and automated file handling.
