Your new role involves overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring fabrication projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. You will lead a team of fabricators and welders, coordinating workloads and maintaining strong operational control.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising daily fabrication and welding activities
  • Allocating workloads and coordinating team tasks
  • Monitoring the use of welding equipment, hand tools and machinery
  • Conducting quality inspections to ensure work meets specifications
  • Promoting and enforcing health & safety standards across the workshop
  • Supporting and developing team members through training and guidance
  • Working closely with production and project teams to meet deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate production records and reporting
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
