Your new role involves overseeing day-to-day assembly operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of operatives while driving performance and maintaining strong operational control.
Key responsibilities:- Supervising daily assembly operations to meet production schedules
- Leading, motivating and supporting assembly teams
- Ensuring products are assembled in line with specifications and quality standards
- Monitoring workflow, productivity and labour utilisation
- Conducting quality checks and maintaining assembly standards
- Promoting and enforcing health & safety across the department
- Delivering toolbox talks and supporting training initiatives
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintaining accurate production reporting and documentation
- Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing or assembly
- Strong understanding of production processes and workflow management
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
