Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major UK industrial employer as an Internal Recruiter, playing a key role in attracting and securing talent across operational, engineering, technical and professional functions.

You'll manage a varied and high-volume portfolio of vacancies, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver recruitment campaigns while providing an excellent candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.

The Role

  • Managing the full recruitment life cycle from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies
  • Writing and advertising engaging job adverts across multiple platforms
  • Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
  • Managing high-volume recruitment campaigns and specialist hiring projects
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Advising managers on market conditions, talent availability and attraction challenges
  • Supporting employer branding and candidate attraction initiatives
  • Working with recruitment partners, local communities and careers events to strengthen talent pipelines
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintaining compliance with recruitment legislation, data protection and company policies
  • Tracking recruitment activity and using data to improve hiring outcomes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have:

  • Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities
  • Exposure to technical, engineering, manufacturing, operational or industrial recruitment environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment systems
  • Strong sourcing and attraction skills, including digital recruitment methods
  • A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
  • The ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
