Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with a leading organisation in Lincoln to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This interesting and varied role will see you supporting senior managers in effective financial planning, monitoring and decision‑making. The role provides professional financial advice, produces management reports and forecasts, and supports budget holders to manage revenue and capital budgets. Working closely with leadership teams, you will challenge financial performance, identify efficiencies, and contribute to annual budget setting and business cases for service development, as well as supporting month‑end processes, financial reporting, and liaison with auditors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and governance frameworks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You will be part, or qualified, CCAB with strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • You will have proven finance business partnering skills coupled with excellent reporting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Public sector finance experience desirable.
  • You will be available for a 12-month fixed-term contract and be living within a commutable distance of the Lincoln area as the role is hybrid working each week.
  • Please note this role is subject to clearance and will require a minimum of 5 years UK residency and 5 years employment history.
