- Respond to service‑related technical queries and escalate risks promptly to the Site Manager.
- Support environmental and landowner considerations related to service access and protection.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing or coordinating underground services on civil engineering, utilities, pipeline or linear infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of service detection, safe digging techniques and buried asset protection.
- Ability to read and interpret utility drawings, statutory plans and survey outputs.
- Experience coordinating with statutory undertakers (water, gas, electric, telecoms).
- Knowledge of service‑related compliance requirements (e.g., CDM, HSG47).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Training
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Utilities or Construction.

- Experience supporting large, multi‑disciplinary teams on environmentally sensitive projects.
- Familiarity with GIS, digital service mapping tools or CDEs.
