Hays Recruitment have partnered with Leicestershire County Council in the search for a Senior Technical Specialist with a strong knowledge of Unified Comms. As the SME in the team, you will own and be responsible for the provision of maintenance, support, development and consultancy for specific technology stacks within the Unified Comms infrastructure to ensure that IT system services remain stable, reliable and resilient in a cost-effective manner.
Mentoring and guiding technical specialists and other technical staff is key as part of the knowledge-sharing ethos within the team. Own, support, install and implement IT infrastructure solutions related to Unified Comms and Corporate email delivery. Liaise with team members, the wider IT department and our customers.
The role encompasses all aspects of networking, including:
- Network related Security
- Windows Server Administration
- Remote Access Services
Knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle, Solaris, Linux and VMWare is advantageous.
