Woodfield School is an innovative and exciting independent special school, supporting children and young people with Autism and associated speech & language, social communication and behavioural difficulties, aged 7 to 19. We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community and take on the role of Pastoral Mentor on a full time, permanent basis. The appointed candidate will work closely with our Assistant Principal with main responsibilities to include providing the nurture side of pastoral care. It would be particularly advantageous if you are able to offer interventions around Play/Lego therapy, Friendship groups, social stories, theory of mind.

To achieve these aims we need dedicated members of staff to join us in addressing the needs of children who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school in order to achieve their full potential.
