Full time Permanent Legal Assistant in Taunton
Your new company
Working for a successful law firm who have offices based all over Somerset.We currently have a role available for Legal Assistant.
You do not need experience as a Legal Assistant for this role but having worked for a council or NHS would be advantageous.
This role is full time permanent Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (potentially 4 days a week would be considered)
This role starts at £24k but would go up to £29k depending on experience if you have worked as a Legal Assistant before.
Your new role
To provide both clerical and administrative support to fee earners, either as part of a team or individually. The role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth running of the business. Secretaries are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and may be responsible for specific tasks or projects and, in some cases, oversee and supervise junior staff.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be confident in your ability to work well under pressure, conducting matters professionally, whilst providing a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service.
A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential for this role.You must have audio typing experience to be successful in this role.
What you’ll get in return
Excellent rate of pay for a 35 hours per week contract.Pension contribution
Holiday allowance – 25 days plus bank holidays plus 2 weeks shut down over christmas
Free parking.
