Overview
In this Transfer Pricing Manager role you will lead the firm’s transfer pricing offering, working with Tax Partners to support a diverse client base on compliance and advisory matters. You’ll manage TP projects, mentor juniors and help grow the service line while delivering commercially-focused advice. The position combines technical TP leadership with client relationship development and cross-team collaboration. Responsibilities
- Manage transfer pricing projects for a varied UK and international client portfolio
- Prepare and review TP documentation, benchmarking studies and economic analyses
- Advise clients on TP policies, intercompany transactions and OECD compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted TP advisor
- Support clients through HMRC enquiries and provide TP technical guidance
- Identify opportunities for broader tax advisory work and collaborate with corporate tax and advisory teams
- Supervise and develop junior tax team members
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors to grow TP service line and support business development
- Coordinate with wider tax and advisory teams to provide joined-up, commercially-focused service
Key requirements
- ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax or related roles with TP exposure
- Strong technical understanding of UK and international TP principles and regulations
- Experience preparing or reviewing TP documentation and advisory projects
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong report writing and communication abilities
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality technical advice
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and provide practical solutions
