Overview
In this role you will drive commercial targets by selling and developing technical solutions for construction customers. You will work from home, report to the Regional Sales Manager, and collaborate with technical, estimating, and marketing teams to secure orders and grow profitability. You’ll maintain CRM records and build key client relationships while delivering compliant design solutions and clear proposals. The position blends sales and technical delivery in a dynamic, process‑driven environment with a focus on growth.

Responsibilities
- Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers using a relationship-driven approach.
- Provide design solutions that meet customer requirements and comply with regulations and standards.
- Ensure products are specified in tender documents.
- Achieve enquiry, quotation, and order targets at agreed gross margins.
- Keep Salesforce CRM up to date to support accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new business relationships and identify prospective customers.
- Produce clear, accurate proposals and quotations in house style.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technical, estimating, and marketing.
- Adhere to legal responsibilities and QHSE policies.
Key requirements
- Experience in a relevant construction-related role (e.g., customer service, sales, project management, QS).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related position or industry.
- Proven sales experience in securing new business (desirable).
- Track record of territory development and order growth (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and CAD.
- Confident negotiator.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent).
- GCSE Maths & English.
- Determined and self-motivated
