An opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading and established accountancy firms in their vibrant Leeds office. The firm provides market-leading audit, accountancy, tax, and advisory services across a wide range of sectors and, as a member of a global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, they offer local insight with international reach.

As a Corporate Tax Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and leading their corporate tax offering in the local Leeds market. You’ll work closely with the wider Corporate Tax team, which spans nine UK offices and includes over 100 professionals, to deliver high-quality tax advisory and compliance services.

  • Leading client relationships and delivering expert advice on corporate tax matters
  • Developing new business opportunities and contributing to our go-to-market strategy
  • Managing a portfolio of clients across diverse sectors including manufacturing, tech, retail, financial services, and property
  • Supporting and mentoring associate directors and junior team members
  • Collaborating with internal partners and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
  • Contributing to departmental and office-level management and strategy
  • Ensuring exceptional client service while managing risk and compliance

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax
  • Strong UK tax technical expertise and ability to provide robust, commercial advice
  • Proven experience managing complex tax projects and client portfolios
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
  • Coaching and mentoring experience to support team development
  • Strategic thinking and business development acumen
