A leading housing charity in Leeds is looking for a highly organised and proactive Repairs Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a busy workload, has strong administrative abilities, and can confidently manage and support trades staff delivering repairs across social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating repairs across housing stock, ensuring jobs are allocated promptly
- Managing and supporting trades operatives, ensuring workloads are balanced and performance targets met
- Monitoring repair progress and ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard
- Liaising with tenants, trades teams, and external partners to provide updates and schedule appointments
- Quality-checking completed work and raising follow-on actions where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records, updating systems, and handling documentation in line with organisational processes
- Providing general administrative support, including email management, reports, and diary coordination
What We're Looking For
- Experience in repairs coordination, maintenance administration, or a similar housing/repairs role
- Confident people management skills to support and allocate work to trades staff
- Strong administration and organisational abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- Experience working within housing associations, charities, or social housing environments is highly desirable.
