Your new role involves joining a Tier 1 ranked Employment team - one of the largest in the country - recognised nationally for its expertise and breadth of service. The team advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, for a diverse client base across multiple sectors. In this role, you will provide advice on a wide range of employment issues, including:
- Drafting contracts and policies
- Handling day-to-day HR queries
- Supporting corporate transactions
- Managing contentious matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, and employment tribunal litigation
- Advising on TUPE, redundancy, and restructuring projects
A key part of the role will involve building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives. For those at Senior Associate level, supervising and mentoring junior team members will also be expected.
To succeed, you will be an experienced employment lawyer with a solid background in handling a broad range of employment law matters. You should have strong technical knowledge combined with commercial awareness and excellent client care skills. Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a large team and contribute to practice development. Previous experience supervising juniors will be advantageous.
