Responsibilities
- Advising on mergers, acquisitions and corporate disposals
- Supporting and leading business and asset acquisitions, share sales and strategic transactions
- Assisting with private equity investments and management buy-outs
- Conducting due diligence exercises, data room reviews and disclosure processes
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and ancillary corporate documentation
- Preparing disclosure letters and supporting documentation
- Advising on shareholder agreements, joint ventures, LLP agreements and corporate reorganisations
- Supporting public company transactions, including IPOs and equity fundraising
- Building strong client relationships and engaging with referrers
- Contributing to business development, tenders and networking activities
- Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 2β4 years' post-qualification experience in a corporate team
- Strong experience advising on corporate transactions, especially M&A
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage matters and client relationships with appropriate supervision
- Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a growing team
