We are seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Operative to join a busy in-house team providing essential building maintenance and support services across a large estate. This is a hands-on role where you will assist with:
- Routine maintenance and repairs
- Planned maintenance tasks
- Security of buildings, furniture, and equipment
- Preparing spaces and logistics for events
As a keyholder, you will work on a rota basis to ensure buildings are safe, secure, and ready for use. The role involves early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work, so flexibility is essential.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in building support or maintenance roles
- Ability to undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Access to own transport (for keyholder duties)
- A trade background and event support experience (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
Additional Details
- Rota shift pattern (including 6am starts and late finishes)
- Weekend work as required
- Enhanced DBS check required
