We're working with a well-established business in Harehills, Leeds, who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to provide temporary support during a period of staff sickness. This role is ideal for someone confident across transactional finance and able to step in quickly.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing purchase ledger tasks, including invoice processing and supplier queries
- Handling sales ledger duties and maintaining accurate customer accounts
- Carrying out credit control, chasing outstanding payments and resolving issues
- Working with a bespoke accounts package (training provided)
- Supporting the finance team with general bookkeeping and admin
- Previous experience in accounts or bookkeeping
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Someone available to start immediately
- 25 hours per week, with full flexibility on how these hours are worked
