Lead Maintenance engineer, up to €60,000 DOE, working days in high volume processing

Lead Maintenance Engineer with a high volume processing plant based in Co Monaghan. This is a new role for the company as they embark on big future plans to deliver a more preventative than reactive service. The company has processed a high quality product for many decades and investment and future proofing plans have seen the appointment of key roles to underpin the future of a hugely successful company. This is an excellent time to be part of something special.
Your new role
This is a hands-on maintenance position with a focus on long term fixing solutions to plant issues, prioritising jobs with production needs as paramount and suggesting improvements to the plant that will improve overall OEE and performance of the equipment. You will assume responsibility within the department for building strong communication with other teams and report to the Maintenance Manager on suggested improvements in the process or investment in designs on developing the plant.
What you’ll need to succeed
This is a hands-on role requiring multi skill and electrical bias in terms of production maintenance. You will have a positive approach to improvement and aspirations to gro in your role in line with the company growth plans. With a huge CAPEX investment over coming years, experience in projects including upgrades and developing a preventative maintenance system would be beneficial.
What you’ll get in return
The salary range is €65000 top end and expected to be in that 55-65k euro area depending on the experience you bring to the role. There is potential for a bonus scheme to be discussed, 30 days annual leave and life assurance with the company.
