A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are supporting the build‑out of a new Operational Resilience (OpsRes) squad in Sheffield, hiring multiple experienced consultants and specialists to join a large‑scale, high‑visibility transformation programme within a regulated financial services environment. This programme sits at the intersection of technology, resilience, risk and regulation, focusing on embedding measurable, sustainable operational and service resilience across complex enterprise technology estates.
Location & Working Model
Based in Sheffield (Hybrid: Initially 2–3 days onsite per week, reducing over time)

Essential experience:
- Strong background in financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Experience across technology, infrastructure, architecture, SRE or resilience‑adjacent roles
- Practical exposure to Operational Resilience, Service Resilience, BC/DR, incident management, scenario testing and/or technology risk
- Experience working within complex, enterprise‑scale service estates with multiple dependencies and suppliers
- Comfortable operating in global, matrixed organisations
Consulting & soft skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
- Confidence engaging at senior technology, architecture, risk and audit levels
- Ability to translate complex technical resilience topics into clear, structured messages for non‑technical audiences
- An advisory mindset — shaping direction, not just executing tasks
