Overview

In this role you will support commercial FP&A and financial planning to inform strategic decisions. You’ll partner with operations and commercial stakeholders to deliver high-quality insight while assisting with core financial reporting and supervising finance processes. You will build and maintain rolling models, conduct variance analysis, and manage pricing, cash flow and reporting packs. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop rolling financial models to support strategic planning and investment decisions
  • Conduct monthly sales and margin variance analysis with actionable recommendations
  • Manage customer pricing structures, commission programmes and warranty reporting
  • Produce weekly cashflow analysis and forecasts
  • Support the Financial Controller with monthly reporting packs aligned to group deadlines
  • Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Provide cover and support for the Financial Controller when required
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls, compliance procedures and reporting standards

Key requirements

  • Professional qualification: ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • Experience in a Management Accountant, Commercial Finance or FP&A role
  • Experience in a large corporate or manufacturing environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with effective financial data interpretation
  • Excellent reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Independent working style with good initiative
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • SAP and/or Tagetik experience advantageous but not essential
  • Immediate availability or short notice period encouraged
