This is a highly visible role sitting at the heart of the business, partnering closely with operational leaders to improve performance, drive decision-making and provide the financial insight needed to support continued growth and improvement.
You'll be responsible for leading operational finance activities across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, inventory and capital investment, whilst acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the manufacturing operation.
Lead monthly management accounts, reporting and variance analysis.
Provide meaningful financial insight to support decision making and operational performance improvements.
Take ownership of inventory reporting and controls.
Lead standard costing processes and support pricing and profitability analysis.
Support capital investment appraisals and post-investment reviews.
Ensure robust financial controls, balance sheet integrity and audit compliance.
Manage and develop a small finance team.
RequirementsQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred).Strong manufacturing finance background.
Experience working with product costing and inventory.
Comfortable challenging, influencing and driving performance improvements.
Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
