This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Excel and data interpretation skills to contribute to a high-impact project. You’ll help drive smarter location-based decisions through data cleansing, analysis, and cost modelling.

Contract Details

  • Rate: £250 per day (inside IR35)
  • Location: Reading (hybrid – 3 times per week on-site)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (with visibility to extend)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse home-to-office mileage data to assess the impact of location changes.
  • Cleanse and validate workforce data in Oracle to ensure accurate classification (home, field, office workers).
  • Identify employees whose contracted base location differs from their nearest office and recommend changes.
  • Support cost modelling for additional travel expenses due to office moves.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure data alignment with policy.
  • Produce clear reports and spreadsheets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Present findings in a concise and actionable format to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualisation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and drawing meaningful insights.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to interpret data and produce clear, structured reports.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar data systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn basic HR policies and location-related terms.
