Your new company is a family-run, fit-out contractor with over 50 years of experience in the industry. This contractor produces fit-out and specialist joinery services for clients in the retail, commercial and residential sectors, with previous clients including local businesses right through to large multinational corporations. Due to continued success and growth within the business, they now require a Joinery Estimator to join their team.

Your new role involves being responsible for tendering joinery works, working on a variety of projects within an integral part of the business as part of the Commercial Team, across NI and the UK. You will be responsible for the submission of joinery tenders and will negotiate with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure tenders are accurate and competitive.

What you'll need to succeed: You will need to have proven experience in a joinery estimating role within construction and/or fit-out and a strong understanding of construction processes. You will be proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills, be a team player and have the ability to work under pressure. They are looking for someone who is dedicated, well-organised and has a hands-on approach to projects.
