Our client is a well-established and reputable construction company with a strong pipeline of projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join their skilled team.
Your new role
- Maintain communication with peers, client services team, contractors and management
- Responsible for measurements and quality control
- Responsible for acting safely and following all company HS protocols
- Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works within qualified work areas
- Attend, diagnose and repair faults/issues having due regard to customer care in this specific environment
- Commitment to a call-out rota
- Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently
- Carry out the actual work to the high quality standards that CTS Projects Ltd expect.
- Uphold Data Protection Policies
- Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required, with main work located in Greater Belfast and County Down
- Check integrity of fire doors
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policy at all times
- Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
- Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
- Observe & follow all manual handling practices
- Experience of - 1st and 2nd fix joinery (2nd fix predominantly), fitting wall and floor tiles, kitchen fitting etc.
- Completed trade apprenticeship
- Full clean driving Licence
- Experience of working at heights / roof repairs desirable
- Experience of working on maintenance contracts/construction industry preferred
- Fire door qualification (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence

In addition,
- As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations properties, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate. CTS will perform an Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
