A well-known public sector organisation is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll Administrator. This individual will join the team on a temporary contract for 8 weeks. The position is fully remote. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
In your new role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns, and making payments to third parties. Dealing with sundry payroll matters such as P45/P60/P11D as well as Itrent experience would be beneficial.
In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls. All applicants must have the UK right to work and clearly demonstrate UK payroll experience.
On offer will be the opportunity to join an experienced payroll team and work closely with an experienced Payroll Manager, a competitive salary in the range of £18/19 per hour. Other benefits include fully remote working.
